Nathan Shields

I'm a math teacher.  I taught in Washington state for six years, and am currently on leave to be a professional dad for a bit.  I earned a B.A. in math and computer science from Willamette University, a master's in teaching from Western Washington University, and National Board certification (2010). 

I recently received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).
